FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Do you provide scene partners?
A: We recommend that you bring your own. Otherwise you may choose someone from our Scene Partner Selection page for $50 per selection.
Q: Can I write my own scene?
A: Absolutely, however it must adhere to certain guidelines (i.e. font, length etc.) We do this to insure the highest probability of traction with industry professionals.
Q: What if I want a longer scene?
A: No problem, you can go feature length if you wish, but the rates will adjust accordingly.
Q: What if I don’t like the audio/visual?
A: We guarantee professional audio/visual. If there is a glitch, or technical error, we will reshoot if needed. However, you will be the first to approve of your scenes before editing.
Q: How long does each scene take?
A: Depending on your commitment, scenes may take anywhere from 45 mins – 1 1/2 hours.
Q: Do I have to have a scene partner?
A: We recommend it in order to give your scene a cinematic feel, however, some clients have opted out from scene partners and had stellar monologues. But they should be stellar monologues if you wish to keep a casting director’s attention.
Q: Do you offer refunds?
A: Conditionally we do, IF we don’t perform in delivery. Since we hire independent contractors, all work is original, therefore, once any original work is delivered to you, a refund can no longer be issued.
Q: What if my performance stinks, can I re-shoot?
A: Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse and you will be fine. We only direct if you ask for suggestions.
Q: Which format will I get my footage?
A: H.264 which is perfect for online uploading in HD format. You will also get 1 complimentary DVD. All additional files or formats can be issued for an additional fee.
Q: How long is the entire process from start to finish?
A: We will take 1-2 days for writing if you don’t have scripts. Filming takes a couple of hours usually, while post will be completed within 5 business days depending on how many scenes or type of shoot you have. You may take several days to rehearse. At max we ask that you complete the process within 2 weeks.
Q: Do you provide hair and makeup?
A: We have a set hair and makeup artist for $50/service
